FLORIANOPOLIS, Brazil – On Thursday, residents spotted U.S. actress Sharon Stone walking with her family in a Santa Catarina Park. The Hollywood star is visiting the posh South-Atlantic seaside city Balneário Camboriú, where her Argentine-model boyfriend Martin Mica has lived since childhood.

A spokesperson for the beach-side Unipraias Park said that the natural beauty of the city dazzled Sharon Stone who spent time admiring the scenery of Balneário Camboriú. The City’s name means “Golfo do Mar (Sea Gulf)”, in an Amerindian language.
Balneário Camboriú is famous for the cable car which (uniquely in the world) links the two beaches of Balneário Camboriú and Laranjeiras. Sharon visited both Camboriu beach and then rode the cable car to Laranjeiras beach where she lunched with her family Thursday afternoon.
A story published in late February 2012 by Forbes magazine, about electronic music in Brazil, presented Balneário Camboriú as “the capital of e-music” in the country. According to Forbes, Balneário Camboriú is the home to the two best clubs in Brazil. The Forbes article claims the Warung club and the Green Valley club make up to $1.6 million per night.
According to Wikipedia, Sharon Stone, 54, is an American actress, film producer, and former fashion model. She achieved international recognition for her role in the erotic thriller Basic Instinct. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for her performance in Casino.

In 1998 she married again, this time to San Francisco Chronicle Executive Editor Phil Bronstein. The couple adopted a son, Roan Joseph, before their divorce in 2004.
