| JOAO PESSOA, Brazil – Late Wednesday, police in Campina Grande, 130 km (81 miles) from the capital, caught an 11-year-old boy driving a bus.

According to police, the lad took advantage of a negligent bus driver who left the vehicle unattended at a terminal while waiting for passengers to board. He drove for about a kilometer (about 3,300 feet) before the bus steering wheel locked and police were able to stop the vehicle.
There were no passengers on board the bus and there was no collision. The boy and the bus were none the worse for the incident. Police released the boy to his parents with no charges filed.
