RIO DE JANEIRO – Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen is the highest paid model in the world for the sixth consecutive year, according to the American magazine “Forbes.”

The magazine estimates that Gisele Bundchen earned about U.S. 45 million dollars between May 2011 and May 2012 from contracts with fashion labels and cosmetic brands.
Kate Moss took second place, grossing an estimated $9.2 million dollars, far less than Gisele Bundchen.
Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio also on list
Two other Brazilians appear in the list of highest paid models in the world: fourth is Adriana Lima and sixth is Alessandra Ambrosio.
All together, the 10 highest-paid models earned around $100 million dollars. The three Brazilians on the list took home more than half the total dollars earned by the top 10 models in the world.
