RIO DE JANEIRO – An unusual scene caught the attention of passersby on Ministro Viveiros de Castro Street in Copacabana Tuesday. A man, apparently sunbathing, lay on the tenth-floor window ledge of a high-rise apartment building wearing just shorts and no protection whatsoever.
Journalist Daniel Nassar photographed the moment a woman appeared and spoke with the man. “The two laughed and she went back into the apartment as if nothing was happening,” Nassar told G1.
The building is near the corner of Rodolfo Dantas Street, just one block from the sands of Copacabana’s famed seashore. “Wouldn’t it be easier to cross the street and go to the beach for sun than risk the window ledge?” Nassar questioned.
